The Blonde Versus Brunette Dilemma

You know what they say, we always want what we don’t have. Maybe that’s why these stunning celebs felt compelled to switch up their hair colors?

We may never know what inspired it, but we can have fun judging which color looked better!

Keira Knightley

No matter what she does, Keira Knightley has a breathtakingly elegant face. But something about that chesnut brown makes her skin glow in a way that is even more stunning than when she rocked a blonde shade.

Rachel McAdams

This is a tough one. Rachel looks dreamy either way. In the end we prefer her as a brunette – how can you argue with that type of perfection?

Reese Witherspoon

Reese is America’s sweetheart and her smile could melt even a Communist dictator’s heart. However, her rosy pink complexion is better suited to a blonde hue.

Katherine Heigl

Katherine Heigl got her big break as the blonde doctor on Grey’s Anatomy, and that look seems to be the best one for her. Brown wasn’t bad, but she is radiant as a blonde.

Beyonce

We think this one is a no-brainer (despite Beyonce’s general hotness in all situations.) As a blonde, she doesn’t look as natural as she should, but her brown hair is rich and shiny. It suits her just right.

Lindsay Lohan

Brunette is better, definitely. Lindsay’s blonde look leaves her washed out and far too processed. Dark locks compliment her pale skin without being overwhelming and darker hair tones make her stunning blue eyes stand out.

Sarah Jessica Parker

The Sex and the City star is a style icon for millions of women and her hair went through many transitions during the course of the show. But ultimately, we like her light brown shade the best, paired with her signature curls, of course!
